GP collective action
We are participating in GP collective action.
During this time we are still open as normal and access to face-to-face and telephone appointments will continue.
We are still open for urgent and pre-booked appointments. Please continue to contact the surgery as you usually would for your health needs and continue to attend pre-booked appointments unless you are told otherwise by our surgery team.
During this time, please use all NHS services wisely and take simple steps to ensure urgent care is available to those who need it most.
This includes using 111 online as the first port of call for urgent health needs or making a free call to 111 for help and advice. Please only use 999 and A&E if it is a serious or life-threatening emergency. For more information on when to call 999 and when to go to A&E, you can visit the NHS UK website.
Local pharmacies can give advice on a range of conditions and suggest medicines that can help with minor health issues. They may also be able to offer treatment and some prescription medicine for certain conditions, without needing to see a GP – find out more about Pharmacy First on the NHS website.
For injuries or illnesses that are urgent but not life threatening, you can use an Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC), walk-in centre or Minor Injuries Unit (MIU). The NHS website provides an overview of the conditions these services can treat and see a list of local services on the NHS Sussex website.
Thank you for your patience and support during this time.
